HARMONY.
Harmony is a platform that tracks emotions; physical health and productiveness of close relationships such as couples, families and best friends through wearables like smart watches, bracelets or rings. The data is displayed live on a joint platform via the app where individuals can share their collective data to be aware of each other’s emotions, efficiency level, and physical state.
Phase 1
THE PROBLEM.
In a fast-paced world, where work is taking over our personal life and subsequently, affecting our personal relationships, individuals do not have the time to share their worries and problems on a daily basis.Communication is a significant characteristic of strong and healthy relationships between couples, siblings and parents/children.
But what will happen if communication does not take our emotional and physical state into consideration?
Families and couples are not aware of each other’s emotional and health state which is causing a lot of conflicts, misunderstandings and even breakups. Moreover, our busy life is keeping parents away from their children; which in particular is affecting their personalities and overall behavior.
But imagine if we could identify our loved one’s emotions and physical health by just few clicks at any time?

WHAT TECHNOLOGY DOES HARMONY NEED?
Harmony requires a smart wearable such as: smart watch, bracelet or ring to collect data, analyze it and then mirror it through a live digital dashboard. The technology used in the wearable includes PPG sensor, Electro-dermal Activity (EDA), Accelerometer, and Infrared Thermopile.

After initial sketching, we began designing different variations in Figma. After each round of design visualization, we would share ideas and feedback to refine it and minimize the amount of information in each component to simplify it as much as possible.

Phase 3.
DATA PATTERNS AND COLORS.
The emotions data will be presented as a circular animated graph, which consists of 6 emotions in total. Positive ones are resembled in cold colors, whereas, Negative ones are displayed in warm colors. Prominent emotions are always in the center, while the non-prominent ones are on the outer side of the circle. Moreover, the efficiency level is presented in a circular ring graph showing daily steps, sleeping hours and hydration level. Furthermore, the Physical state is visualized as line graphs consisting of heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature.
Nonetheless, users will receive notifications if any member of the family has any emotional or health complications and reminders to boast their efficiency level. Additionally, individuals can also display all the data history up to one month.

After exploring a huge amount of design solutions in many different scenarios. we were able to refine the data visualization from complex data information to a dynamic easy to comprehend visual system.
